Hi guys, I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was a bit of a love affair with my city, and some of my peoples...
On Saturday, I hosted a small Catch Up & Connect Session, with a few blogger ladies. It was a really fun afternoon, and I'd love to do it again with a lot more of the beautiful people I've met through blogging. It was nice to hang out, play games, swap products, and learn more about each others blogs, as well as pick up some tips from each other about using social media.
Hopefully I'll be able do a slightly bigger one later this year with more space for people to come.
I really wanted to find somewhere reasonably priced with a nice atmosphere, and an element of privacy, for the meet up, and Seven At Brixton, a small tapas bar inside Brixton Market, was perfect.I had no idea that some of units in Brixton Market had upstairs areas until I discovered Seven.
The venue was typical of my taste, very laid back and quite shabby chic looking. Cocktails were about £5, and the upstairs rooms were decorated to feel like art installations.
As well as their own drinks menu they also offer personalised cocktails, so we were able to choose anything from a classic chai tea to, a round of "Single Strand Shots"from my themed menu. The food menu was a variety of tapas and sweet desserts, which was also very reasonably priced, and nicely presented, and the Staff were really friendly, patient and accommodating.
It was a great spot to spend a day with the girls, and well worth checking out.Hopefully I'll be able to find somewhere just as good with a bit more space for next time.
I'll have all the pics up on my Facebook page, later this week.
