This wasn't supposed to be a "Holiday Hair" post, but since this is probably the style that'll take me through Christmas, and probably my last post until after the 25th, I figured it made sense.
It's been a while since I put my hair in a semi-long term protective
style. Sometimes I'm reluctant to do this because I struggle to get my
flat-twists as neat as I'd like, so it takes me a while longer to do
than it probably should. However, practice makes perfect, so I took
about 3 or 4 hours one evening and committed myself to trying to develop
my skills.
It's not perfect but it's a personal achievement so I'm happy.
I did 3 flat twists on either side, and 6 flat twists in the back, and the top was regular two-strand twists.
I had planned to put perm-rods in the ends, but I still haven't got
round to it, so I've mostly been wearing it pinned to one side. Provided the sides remain neat enough for few more days, I might undo the twists on the top and play around with a twistout.
What do you think guys?
Any tips on how to improve my flat twists?
And, how will you be wearing your hair for Christmas?
Whatever your plans are, I'm wishing you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Love Crystal Afro
xoxo
