I recently organised another trip to see the Origins Of The Afro Comb exhibition.
It was a brilliant day and I'd like to say a huge thank you to all the ladies and little-ones that came.If you follow me on Instagram I've probably already bombarded your timeline with photos from the day, but incase you're not an avid Instagramer, check out the photos from the weekend, below.
Since the first trip, I've recently met a wonderful and incredibly intelligent young lady called Tina Lasisi who's currently studying at Cambridge uni. The title of her dissertation is "Quantitive Variation of African Hair Pigmentation & Morphology"..... Eerr yah!Ok so, translated it means the study of differences in the colour and shape of African hair. I look forward to telling you more about Tina and her study >here< in another blog post; but this weekend Tina met up with us, and took us around Cambridge, to the market, and then into the university for lunch, and gave us a chance to participate in her research, by donating some hair.
Love Crystal Afro xx
You have done a great job evaluating that day. I smiled reading through this post as it brought back great memories of the day we had. I hope we can have many more xx
