Last weekend I met up with some of the ladies from #TeamnaturalUK to celebrate UK Vlogger Stacey @TheNaprika's birthday. It was an absolutely brilliant night.
We started at Cotton's West Indian Restaurant in Boxpark, and then went on for more drinks and dancing in Shoreditch, and we made a few friends along the way, which was random but fun.
One of the best things about going natural, besides falling in love with my own hair, is the friends I've made, and the people I've met. I love how much my social circle has opened up.
As for my hair, I decided to do a quick updo similar to my hair for the club >here<, but this time my hair wasn't as stretched, and I only used a headband and few hair pins.

I also decided that my Africa disc earrings would go well. I picked them up from Uzima, earlier in the Summer.

  1. Crystal, what was cottons like? It looks lush!

    1. I liked it, but some people were disappointed. It's like a jazzed up version of Caribbean cuisine, which doesnt bother me, but I guess some people preffer things a little more traditional. The Shoreditch branch where we were is a lot smaller/ more intimate than the usual Cottons but I loved the interior.

  2. Looks like you guys had fun! You look great btw

    1. Aww Thanks Nia. I hope you'll be coming out with us again soon?
