With all that's been going on recently I definitely could do with a little distraction and light relief, so this weekend I'm quite looking forward to the ACE Blogger's Outing.
On Saturday a group of us will be meeting at London King's Cross and travelling to Cambridge to go and see the Origins Of The Afro Comb exhibition.
Because we'll be getting the train, Cambridge University kindly agreed to pay for allocated tickets, which have now all been distributed, with priority going to those who attended workshops early last year.

However, although there are no more free tickets, if you would like to purchase a ticket and join us, you are more than welcome to. Please find all the info you need below:
  • Meeting Point - King's Cross Railway Station - opposite the ticket office
  • Time - 11:20am
  • Price - £23 (Possible discounts available*)

*SPECIAL OFFERS with First Capital Connect Trains
  •  £23
1 adult Off-Peak Return fare, from London King's Cross to Cambridge and back (without a railcard), will cost £23.

  • £11.50
But, if you are travelling with more than one person, you can get a Group Saver Discount, which allows 4 people to travel for the price of 2. Which works out at about £11.50 each.

(Some of you may have seen my me airing my frustrations with the First Capital Connect Customer Service Team on Twitter yesterday, but I have to admit that they did a great job of responding to my tweets and getting straight on the job to provide me with the information I'd been waiting for, so I'm no longer mad at 'em.)
As a day out with friends it's cheaper than most natural hair events, so come join us, or get yourself down there for a one day this Summer.
